Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016) with 4G goes official

The original Samsung Galaxy J1 was launched in India last February for Rs 7,190.
After many leaks and specuations about the Samsung Galaxy J1, the company has now silently launched the device in Dubai, as per GSMArena. Galaxy J1 is now said to be available from Jumbo Electronics, a retailer in Dubai, for AED 499,or about Rs 9,000 approximately. However the device is not listed on Samsung's official website yet.
As per specs are concerned, the Galaxy J1 (2016) features a 4.5-inch (480x800 pixel resolution) Super Amoled display which is slightly bigger than the 4.3-inch display of the original Galaxy J1. The new Galaxy J1 is powered by the 1.3 GHz Samsung Exynos 3475 quad core processor and Mali-T720 GPU. It has 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage and runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS.
The smartphone flaunts a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The device is backed up by 2050mAh battery. On the connectivity frony, the handset offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and Micro USB.
Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016) comes in black, white, and gold colors. Global rollout of the phone hasn't been revealed yet.
The older Galaxy J1 is based on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and has a 5 megapixel auto focus rear camera with an LED flash. Besides, it has a 2 megapixel front camera, dual SIM and an 1850 mAh Li-Ion battery that claims to offers 10 hours of 3G talktime. The existing Samsung Galaxy J1 model also offers FM radio, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, WiFi Direct, GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS, Proximity sensor, and Accelerometer.
The original Samsung Galaxy J1 was launched in India last February for Rs 7,190. It has a 4.3 inch touchscreen with 480x800 pixels resolution, 1.2 GHz dual core processor, 512 MB RAM, 4 GB ROM, and a micro SD card slot of 64 GB capacity.
