BlackBerry Priv launched in India at Rs 62,990

BlackBerry today launched its first ever Android smartphone, the Priv, in India at Rs 62,990. It will be available for purchase from January 30.
The BlackBerry Priv was first made available last October in the USA, the UK, Canada and Germany.
The BlackBerry Priv comes with a 5.4 inch display with Quad HD (2560x1440 pixels) resolution. The AMOLED screen is slightly curved in the edges. The smartphone has a slider QWERTY keypad as well. The BlackBerry Priv comes with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system and is run by the Snapdragon 808 hexa core processor with the help of 3 GB RAM. The smartphone offers 32 GB internal storage and a 200 GB micro SD card slot.
The handset is armed with an 18 megapixel rear camera that comes with Schneider-Kreuznach optics, optical image stabilization, autofocus and dual-LED (dual tone) flash light. It has a 2 megapixel front camera.
The smartphone offers single SIM, 4G, WiFi (a/b/g/n), WiFi Direct, WiFi Hotspot, Bluetooth 4.1 A2DP LE, GPS with AGPS and a micro USB 2.0 port. The Priv has a 3410 mAh battery and comes in black colour only.
